Yesterday when I went to get Isabela off the school bus I noticed something new. A nest built right on my front porch! I thought to myself, I cant tear this nest down. It takes a lot of work for a bird to find the perfect sticks and hay to build a nest. If I tear this nest down what if the bird cannot make a new nest before she lays her eggs? So I decided to let the bird stay. I have a suspicion that this is the same bird that has been sleeping on my porch light all winter shitting down my wall and almost taking the heads off all my guests who visit my home at night. So the bird stays. If anything it will be cool for the girls to go out there everyday and see the eggs and the baby birds til they learn to fly away.
